MasTec is constructing a new 765kV line using self-supporting, 4 legged lattice towers constructed on concrete foundations. The line utilizes 6 bundle 795 kcm (45/7) ACSR conductor and two optical ground wires.

As one of the premier pipeline contractors in Texas, MasTec provided construction services for the installation of 35 miles of 24" steel natural gas pipeline, including several directional drills in rock.

An energy company awarded MasTec a blanket contract for the installation of approximately 26 miles of 8"-20" natural gas pipeline. Construction services included numerous river, road and wetland crossing by horizontal directional drilling and dry crossing methods along with the installation of 6" Flex Steel water lines.

17,000' of 8" steel natural gas pipeline in Texas, 14,000' of 12" steel pipeline, 20,104' of 16" steel natural gas pipeline, 247,366' of 24" steel pipeline, completed in 2010.

Wind farm construction services employed included roads, foundations, electrical and tower wiring, and wind turbine erection.
